My granddaughter could not open this present fast enough. She immediately had us rip open the plastic wrap and proceeded to play with it,ignoring all of her other Christmas presents.
These are made in china, which I thought Melissa and Doug did Mfg in the US, BUT these are well made. The designs on the food are appropriate, and creative.
I love the little crates, and it does help to keep everything organized. These are just adorable.
It was unknowingly packed. I just wish that they had a replacement policy for a single item.
We lost the stick of butter at a hotel. They are just the right size.
I would have rather had them made in the US, but they seem just fine.
This is being played with so much by my granddaughters, ages 2 and 4. They love it.
I'm still trying to show her how the foods fit in the different groups. When it got here I was surprised how many foods came with the set, as well as the quality of the product. I got this Melissa and Doug wooden food groups set for my 20 month old. The wooden bins are just as durable as the foods. My daughter just loves them, and plays with them daily. She likes to pretend eat or drink them and goes over the names of the foods. I would highly recommend this to anyone out there looking for an educational, fun food play set. Melissa and Doug wooden toys are durable, and very cute.
Doesn't come close to the other food that Melissa & Doug makes. Just got it today and am unimpressed with how small and obviously fake the play food is. The pieces are unrealistically small. Pretty disappointed. The fish is so small that I think it should have been thrown back into the river.
